Assignment One: Portraits & Utilizing Studio Lighting
Reflection:
1. These images are different than ID photographs because they are all unique and use different lighting, and exposures. As well as props and different faces to enhance the photograph.
2. I brightened and dimmed the lights according to the shadows and positions of the subject. I lifted the light in order to reduce the shadow on the background. I used a white panel to reflect light onto the subject.
3. The mood in the first and second photographs are a serious and dramatic mood, where as the third is a happier and brighter mood.
4. The second picture could be lighter all around, and the third could have been a lighter background to enhance the image.

1. I combined the flower, and the picture of Sam because I liked the colors in the flower and I thought the two pictures went well together.
2. The mood is portrayed as peaceful and soft.
3. I feel as though the blending went well along with the fade between the two images.
4. I would like to move the flower over so it would not be covering her face.
